Working together
Most identity projects take six to eight weeks. Websites take eight to twelve weeks, depending on content and integrations. You get a dated plan before you sign anything.
Yes. The Launch plan was designed for teams raising their first round or opening their first location. If you'd be better served by waiting, we'll say so.
Yes, as long as there are at least three working hours a day that overlap with Lisbon. About a quarter of our clients are in the UK and North America.
Often that is the best set-up. We can hand over a documented design system for your team to build from, or work alongside them through the build.
Pricing and payment
At a fixed price for a fixed scope, agreed after a short discovery phase. The ranges on our pricing page are a guide; the estimator there gives you a starting point.
Projects are invoiced by phase: usually 40% at the start, 30% after design and 30% at launch. Smaller projects are split 50/50. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
Font and stock image licences, hosting, domains and third-party software. We list each of these with its cost before you commit.
Yes, with 30 days' notice, for up to three months a year. Unused hours don't roll over, but we'll always plan the month with you.
Process and timing
A short brief, one person who can make decisions, and two hours for a kickoff workshop. No brief yet? The project form is a good place to start one.
Two rounds per stage on every plan. In practice, showing routes in context means most projects use fewer.
Nothing dramatic. We agree new dates together and keep your slot for up to two weeks. Longer delays may mean rescheduling around other projects, and we'll tell you early.
No. We'd rather spend that time on paid discovery, where the work is based on real conversations with you and your customers.
Ownership and handover
You do. Once the final invoice is paid, you own the designs, source files and code. Fonts and stock assets keep their own licences, and we list each one for you.
Usually plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with a headless content management system, or a well-supported platform your team already uses. We recommend based on who will edit the site.
Yes. Every site comes with a training session and a written guide, and we design the content structure around the people who will update it.
Every project includes 30 days of fixes (60 on the Studio plan). After that, you can book us by the day or move to a Partner retainer.

Ask us anything about your project. A designer, not a salesperson, will reply within two working days.
